Events you don’t want to miss in Cyprus in October 2023

October is here already, and guess what? It’s bringing a bunch of awesome events with it! The weather’s just right, not too hot, not too cold, and there’s a vibe in the air that says, “Let’s have a great time!”. Here’s the list of all the awesome events happening this October:

4-8 October: “The Party of My Life” (Municipal Theater Nicosia)

After 20 years, Eleni Radou has returned to Cyprus with her sold-out performance of “The Party of My Life.” Your heart will be touched by this significant journey through memories and emotions. This performance, which was directed by Anestis Azas and included the melodic String Demons, is exceptional. People in Limassol should note the date as well because it will be there from October 10 to 12.

4 October: “Release of the Soul” (Germasogeia River)

At 8:30 PM on October 4, the beautiful Germasogeia River transforms into an idyllic spot for the “Release of the Soul.” You will be entertained by Areti Ketime and Stephanos Pelekanis, and if you’re over 18, there will also be complimentary beer.

5-8 October: Nicosia Book Fest (Nicosia)

Bookworms, enjoy! The beloved Nicosia Book Fest has returned. Nicosia will be a center of literary delights from October 5 to October 8. Expect to find publishing houses, bookstores, and a range of literary events.

5 October: Giannis Haroulis Concert (Curium Amphitheatre Limassol)

Giannis Haroulis’ incredible music will fill Limassol’s Curium Amphitheatre on October 5. Get ready for an evening full with music.

6-8 October: Seaside Street Food Festival (Medieval Castle Square Paphos)

Foodies, this one’s for you! Paphos’ Medieval Castle Square is transformed into a food paradise from October 6 to October 8. Various delicious street delicacies from around the world will be available for you to try.

6-7 October: Konstantinos Argiros Concert (Theama Venue Limassol)

Don’t pass up the opportunity to see Konstantinos Argiros perform on stage at Limassol’s Theama Venue on October 6 and 7. It promises to be a unique musical experience.

7-8 October: Comic Con (State Fair)

Get ready! Cyprus Comic Con returns on October 7 and 8 at the State Fair. Enjoy two amazing days filled with cosplay, art exhibits, video game tournaments, guest panels, and much more.

7 October: Pink Walk (Eleftherias Square)

On October 7, join the Pink Walk at Eleftherias Square at 5:00 PM. This event raises awareness for the Right to be Forgotten, and there are free shuttle buses from cities across Cyprus to get you there.

7-15 October: Wine Festival (Limassol Public Garden)

Drink to Limassol’s 62nd Wine Festival, which runs from October 7 to October 15. In the charming Limassol Public Garden, one may savor regional cuisine, take in cultural acts, and drink local wines.

7-15 October: Medieval Festival (Ayia Napa)

From October 7 to 15, Ayia Napa will host the Medieval Festival, where you may step back in time. In this lovely setting, take in street theater, music, workshops, and a thriving medieval market.

10-12 October: October Test (Nicosia)

Beer lovers, here’s a treat for you! From October 10 to 12, Moondog’s Bar & Grill in Nicosia presents October Test, featuring over 250 different beers, including unique craft brews from around the world. There’ll be live music, DJs, raffles, and delectable food to enjoy.

11 October: Madame Figaro Awards (Nicosia Municipal Theater)

On October 11, the Nicosia Municipal Theater will host the 18th Madame Figaro Awards Women of the Year 2023. It’s a night of celebration and charity, with proceeds from ticket sales.

13 October: Alexia Charity Concert (“Mikri Salamina” Philippou Giapani Sculpture Park in Fasoula, Limassol)

The Salamis Organization presents a Charity Concert featuring the internationally acclaimed Alexia Vassiliou on Friday, October 13, 2023, at 7:30 PM.

13 October: Vitali & Thivaios Performance (Kiklos Music Scene, Limassol)

Eleni Vitali & Christos Thivaios will take the stage at Kiklos Music Scene in Limassol on October 13 for a one-of-a-kind performance.

13-15 October: Xarkis Festival (Kornos Village, Larnaca)

14 October: Nikos Makropoulos Concert (Opus Venue, Limassol)

15 October: Athienou Festival (Constantinio Municipal Park, Athienou)

On October 15, attend the Pan-Cypriot Festival of Athenian products in Athienou. Find local specialties including as traditional bread, dairy products, jams, and more in the lovely surroundings of Constantinio Municipal Park.

19-22 October: Open Up Festival (Nicosia)

The goal of the Open Up Festival is to highlight up-and-coming artists. Nicosia will be bursting with visual art, designs, films, and much more from October 19 to 22, featuring talent from Cyprus and six other countries.

21 October: Street Food Festival (Maroni Village)

Head to Maroni village on October 21 for a Street Food Festival. Enjoy local flavors, watch live cooking demonstrations, and groove to musical tunes in the cute streets of the village.

22 October: Peripato (Rialto Theatre, Limassol)

On October 22, “Peripato,” an interactive soundwalk, will take you on a unique adventure at the Rialto Theatre in Limassol. Experience Heroes’ Square’s history, and future through both sound and visuals.

27-29 October: Motor Festival (Ayia Napa Limanaki)

You can attend the 3rd Motor Festival at Ayia Napa’s Limanaki from October 27 to 29. You won’t want to miss this exciting event of everything automotive.
