19 November: Peripato (Rialto Theater, Limassol)

Take advantage of the English-speaking audience’s new access to the interactive Heroes’ Square soundwalk. Using audio and graphics, study the square’s past, present, and future. Maria Varnakkidou and Konstantina Andreou created a trip through time, a memory’s imprint, and an audiovisual experience as part of Rialto’s Associate Artist Residence Scheme. Heroes’ Square has a soundwalk that circles the square and pays tribute to those who have experienced, are experiencing, and will experience it in the future. Past events, buildings and monuments that have changed throughout time, and a peek at the Square’s future are all included.

A unique audio-visual event, the performance has a soundtrack of movies that have inspired people of all ages to dream, including Alladin, The Lion King, Little Mermaid, Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, Encanto, and many more.

26 November: Jimmy Carr (Strovolos Municipal Theatre, Nicosia)

This will be a night of laughter as Jimmy Carr, one of the world’s most prominent stand-up comedians, brings his “Terribly Funny 2.0” tour to Nicosia. The entire performance of this show is in English. Jimmy, the star of the UK’s most watched Netflix comedy special in 2021, is returning to the stage in 2023 with all-new material.

28 November: Swan Lake (Larnaca Municipal Theatre)

The timeless classic “Swan Lake” with Principal Dancers of Staatsballett Berlin, Marian Walter and Iana Salenko, is coming to Cyprus. A captivating ballet that has enchanted audiences for generations. 30 November in Nicosia too.

29 November: The Nutcracker (Larnaca Municipal Theatre)

29 November: Famagusta (Strovolos Municipal Theatre, Nicosia)

“One city… ONE city… one story… ONE story”. The people of Famagusta, in a performance of musical narrative content. A documentary unfolding live on stage. A “moment” of image and history.
