Annual Paphos Film Festival Is Back This Summer

The annual Paphos International Film Festival is back this summer, treating cinephiles to three days of screenings. It’s 8th edition is set to take place from June 23 to June 25 at Technopolis 20, featuring a curated selection of 21 captivating short films from around the world. The festival invites film enthusiasts, aged 18 and over, to immerse themselves in a cinematic experience under the starry Paphian sky.

After careful consideration, the festival’s programming team handpicked a diverse selection of films out of hundreds of submissions. From whimsical comedies to thought-provoking dramas and fascinating documentaries, the line-up promises to offer something for everyone.

Audiences will have the opportunity to embark on a cinematic journey that traverses borders and cultures, with films from Cyprus, Greece, Italy, France, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Singapore, the Dominican Republic and more. Each film brings a unique perspective and storytelling style, showcasing the rich tapestry of global cinema. In addition to the main programme, the festival will also present seven exceptional student films, showcasing the talent and creativity of the next generation of filmmakers.
