What’s On? Cyprus International Food Festival

The first Cyprus International Food Festival took place in 2016 in Nicosia, and from 2017 will take place on the Molos Promenade, Limassol under the auspices of the Minister of the Interior, Mr Constantinos Petrides. CIFF strives to showcase the diverse kitchens in Cyprus – a crossroad of cultures from the Mediterranean, Middle East, Europe and with links to the Far East.

The Cyprus International Food Festival takes place over 2 days, on 23 and 24 September 2017 from 4pm until late in the evening. The spectacular views of the sea from the Molos Area Boardwalk provide an ideal backdrop, for tasting the many differing cuisines in the form of street food while sampling both local and international wineries. In addition to over 40 exhibitors, there is a special area dedicated for children under 12, to take part in a cooking classes under the watchful eyes of professionals.

Over 20 chefs will represent cuisines from different countries while demonstrating their culinary skills. There will also be demonstrations on how to make cocktails, a photographic and art exhibition as well as competitions for the public. Wineries and breweries, both local and international will be there to offer tastings.

With FREE entrance, everybody is welcome to relax and enjoy the feast, music and a full schedule of events!
